The grassroots movement often starts with the click of a mouse. Invite your friends to join the campaign and the fight for a better education. The fastest way to get the word out is through facebook! Tim is committed to using innovative technology to connect with his constituents: SMOB 2.0!
2. Invite Tim to Speak at Your School or Club!
Sometimes, SGAs, Class Planning Groups, Honors societies, or clubs like to hold a debates between the two candidates or and they often invite candidates to speak at their schools whether it is at a meeting or on your morning announcements. A lot of teachers, parents, administrators, and students would probably like to see an actual Board of Education member visit their schools to listen to their concerns. A list of his official events will be posted online on the front page.

3. Join the Tim Hwang for SMOB campaign!
This campaign is all about you and nothing would be possible without the volunteers that make up the campaign. The campaign is actively recruiting campaign staff for every singly high school and middle school to spread the word about the campaign and serve as communication points. Representatives organize volunteers to spread the word at events and campaign events. Please visit the contact page if you are interested in joining the campaign and volunteering your time!
4. Endorse Tim Hwang as the 32nd Student Member on the Board of Education!
If you are a community, school leader, student organization, or school newspaper we are always looking for people to take the stand and support Tim as the next Student Member on the Board of Education. If you’re willing to stand by Tim Hwang and support him, please visit the contact page and a member of the campaign will get in contact with you as soon as possible.
5. Contact your local media or school newspaper!
The campaign would love to hear what you think of Tim Hwang and I’m sure your school would too. Write letters to the editor to your school newspaper about Tim Hwang! Have them interview Tim Hwang! |
